Job description

Mancan Staffing is assisting a company in North Lawrence in hiring an experienced CNC Machinist.
Shift: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: BOE
Job Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts
Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code or CAM-generated)
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed
Maintain machines and ensure a clean, safe work environment
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience (lathe, mill, or both)
Proven ability to write and modify CNC programs
Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis or 5-axis) required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Drivers License is REQUIRED with strong work ethic
