Mandatory skills and requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-20 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or quality engineering.
• Proven ability to resolve early-stage production issues and optimize machining cycle times.
• Experience providing shop floor support during production ramp-up, including coordination with operators and supervisors.
• Expertise in CNC program development/modification using UG NX, with program verification experience in Vericut.
• In-depth knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, boring bars, and inserts across various machining platforms.
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings, tolerancing standards, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Capability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), implement corrective actions, and improve process capability (Cp/Cpk).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination and technical discussions.

• Support process validation on new machines running new programs or tooling.
• Assist in proving out new programs and resolving issues during initial production runs.
• Provide CNC programming expertise for the introduction of new capital equipment and machining processes.
• Evaluate probing cycles and machining strategies to ensure dimensional conformance as verified by CMM inspections.
• Minor modification to the existing programs in UG - NX
• Update and maintain CNC programs and related documentation based on FAI results and engineering change requests.
