  • Support ongoing modernization efforts by assisting with migration of legacy scripts and workflows into more scalable, servicebased or APIdriven solutions.

Database Engineering Support
  • Assist application teams with databaserelated development needs, including schema design support, SQL review, and adherence to database development standards.

  • Help implement and maintain guardrails, validations, and checks that promote performance, reliability, and security across database platforms.

  • Learn and apply best practices across relational and cloud database technologies.

Automation and Reliability
  • Support automation efforts focused on reducing manual operational work and improving consistency across environments.

  • Participate in incident analysis and contribute code fixes or tooling enhancements that prevent recurrence.

  • Help improve observability and transparency of database platforms through logging, monitoring integration, and tooling enhancements.

Collaboration and Growth
  • Work collaboratively with global DBA, platform, and application engineering teams across time zones.

  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team knowledgesharing forums.

  • Build technical depth across database platforms, development practices, and enterprise tooling.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Java.

  • Basic understanding of relational database concepts including tables, indexes, transactions, and SQL.

  • Familiarity with software development fundamentals including version control, code reviews, and testing.

  • Strong problemsolving skills and willingness to learn enterprise database platforms and tooling.

  • Ability to work effectively in a teambased, largescale technology environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to database platforms such as SQL Server, Snowflake, or similar enterprise databases.

  • Experience supporting or maintaining internal tools, scripts, or shared libraries.
