GENERAL SUMMARY

  • ย  ย  ย  ย Under the supervision of the Director/Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role.
  • ย  ย  ย  ย This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
  • ย  ย  ย  ย The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvementย  ย programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
  • ย  ย  ย  ย The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • ย  ย Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • ย  ย Two years RN experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES:
  • ย  ย  ย  ย Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
  • ย  ย  ย  ย BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard.
  • ย  ย  ย  ย Certifications appropriate for specific unit.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 years of emergency department experience preferred.
  • 1 year of leadership or like experience.
  • BSN highly preferred.
