COO – Solar Manufacturing | Bay Area, CA

I’m partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed solar manufacturing company to identify a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the scale-up of its U.S. manufacturing operations.

This is a highly operational leadership role with responsibility for ramping a 1+ GW advanced solar module manufacturing facility and supporting the development of an additional manufacturing site in the Bay Area.

The COO will oversee manufacturing, process engineering, quality, maintenance, EHS, planning, materials, and supply chain, while building the organization and operating infrastructure required to scale.

We’re particularly interested in leaders with:

  • Large-scale solar, semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing experience
  • Proven success commissioning, ramping, and optimizing manufacturing facilities
  • Strong experience leading high-volume, automated production environments
  • Ability to build and lead cross-functional operations teams
  • Experience taking manufacturing operations from startup/ramp through commercial-scale production
