Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring FL/Compact license and Level I Trauma experience.

Details
  • Case Management unit within an acute care hospital setting
  • Adult and geriatric patient population with a ratio of 1:25-30
  • 5x8hr Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
  • One full weekend required every 4 weeks
  • No call or holiday coverage required
  • Uses EPIC, CarePort, AllScripts, and PowerChart charting systems
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • Responsible for completing initial patient assessments and follow-up visits at minimum every third day
Requirements
  • Active FL or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 2 years recent acute care hospital case management and discharge planning experience required
  • Experience must be consecutive within the past 24 months in a US hospital
  • Level I Trauma experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Degrees from Operation Nightingale Schools not accepted
Additional Information
  • Conduct comprehensive case management including discharge planning and periodic patient reassessment
  • Smoke-free facility
  • Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered at a lower rate
  • Former permanent employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations allowed
  • Basic Arrhythmia assessment required for certain clinical areas, with a passing score needed prior to starting first shift
