About the Role:
Sentinel Security Solutions is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and professional Sales Assistant to directly support the President & CEO in the day-to-day management of sales opportunities, customer communications, site surveys, and proposal development.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside executive leadership in a fast-growing security and low-voltage technology company. The Sales Assistant will play a critical role in improving sales efficiency, enhancing the customer experience, and helping drive company growth.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
  •  Answer and manage inbound sales inquiry phone calls and emails
  •  Qualify new sales inquiries and enter prospects into Sentinel’s CRM and sales software
  • Track leads, manage follow‑ups, and maintain accurate sales pipeline records
  • Schedule and conduct site surveys for residential and commercial prospects
  • Take detailed site notes, measurements, and photographs for CEO review and proposal preparation
  • Gather accurate project information to assist the CEO in preparing quotes for security, camera, access control, fire alarm, audio/video, and other low-voltage technology system
  • Maintain organized records of customer communications, project notes, and sales opportunities
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned by the President & CEO
  • Provide complete and organized site information to the Sales Manager / President & CEO for bid preparation
  • Prepare and send basic equipment replacement, upgrade, and addition agreements for existing customers
  • Proactively call contractors, builders, property managers, and business owners to generate new sales leads
  • Attend chamber of commerce events, mixers, trade shows, and community networking events to generate leads as directed by the CEO
  • Set appointments for executive management within assigned and approved time blocks
  • Coordinate directly with the President & CEO, who serves as Executive Sales Manager, on all sales activities
  • Ensure timely communication and follow‑up with prospects and existing customers
  • Maintain professionalism and brand representation consistent with Sentinel Security Solutions standards 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and a team player mentality
  • Excited to work directly with executive leadership and contribute to company growth
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits and events as well as meeting all requirements needed to be accepted by company drivers insurance policy
  • Must hold an Alarm Company Employee (ACE Card) issued by The State of California. If you don't already     have one, we will assist in the application process during the hiring process. The process does require a live scan and you must disclose any current or previous criminal convictions. Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance coverage as specified in the Company Driving Policy.
