Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cabinet Installer to join our team. This role requires precision, professionalism, and the ability to work as part of a team or work independently to complete projects on time and to customer satisfaction. Installers to join our team and assist in ongoing and upcoming projects. Must be detail oriented, responsible, trustworthy, dedicated and extremely hard working. Your in-depth knowledge of cabinetry practices will be critical in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Clear and prepare project sites, install cabinets
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to use job specific tools and materials, including wood, laminates, and hardware to install cabinetry, hardware, trim, crown and base and other mouldings necessary
  • Proficient at installing properly aligned cabinets that are level, securely installed, and operating properly
  • Ensure tops are perfectly smooth and level for the counter tops to go on properly
  • Ability to install door hinges, drawer slides and handles
  • Ensure all visible wood is finished uniformly to the customer's desire
  • Competence in caulking applications for effective sealing
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site and clean up the work area before leaving each day
  • Remove debris that is no longer needed on jobsite or becomes a safety hazard
  • Ensure tools are organized and placed in a safe area when returning to jobsite for continued work
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations to create a safe work environment for all project team members

Qualifications

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure precision and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods, kneeling, bending, standing, climbing, and repetitive motion
  • English and Spanish language comprehension required
