Job description

Assistant Buyer LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an Assistant Buyer for our client located in South Seattle. This position will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract opportunity assisting our client on a seasonal basis. This position will focus on coordinating purchasing activities by gathering part and material details from internal stakeholders through RFQs, spreadsheets, emails, and direct communication. This will be a deadline driven position and this role will update delivery timelines, collaborate with vendors and carriers to expedite orders, and keeps operations and project teams informed on material status. Interested candidates must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work well under pressure. Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree desired
  • Minimum 1 year purchasing/buying experience
  • Must be proficient working within ERP Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong ability to work well independently and analytically problem solve
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as this role will communicate in-person and over the phone
Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
