Job description

Our goal each and every day is to provide care, comfort and respect to our residents. We are looking for an individual with skill, ability and compassion to fulfill our full-time Maintenance Assistant Technician position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing maintenance, service and repair of the interior and exterior of our communities that can and will include HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, painting, general labor and lawn/landscaping
  • Responding to maintenance requests by residents for items needing repair in their rooms
  • Maintaining positive communications with local fire marshal, building inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of general maintenance experience including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.
  • Knowledge of building equipment, building codes, and building systems
  • Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work weekends
  • Must enjoy working with seniors
  • A successful candidate will be detail oriented and focused on customer service. The right candidate is self-motivated, can work independently as well as in a team and have good communication skills.
  • Provide proof of clean driving record and have reliable transportation.
  • Must be neat in appearance and punctual
  • Valid Florida Drivers License
