Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a part-time Bakery Clerk at our Food Store in Swan River, MB.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk's responsibilities will include the following:

  • Utilize the production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
  • Follow established Co-op procedures to produce high quality baked goods.
  • Receive, inspect, and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment.
  • Properly prepare, package and price baked goods.
  • Display and rotate baked goods as per established guidelines.
  • Process bakery orders from customers, prepare accurate invoices for those goods and provide customer service in line with the Co-op brand.
  • Observe and maintain sanitation standards and practices, maintain tools and equipment, and keep work area clean and neat.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
