C.A.P. Government, Inc. is looking for a Municipal Director as the primary client contact within their assigned jurisdiction

Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current clients and prospective clients in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization. Expedites the resolution of client problems and complaints.

Analyzes the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective client value to the organization. Manages and executes professional service requests. Assist in the training and evaluation of technical support staff.

Advises upper management on servicing issues arising from problems identified through service or technical support calls with clients. Sets goals and expectations for staff members for daily calls and assignments. Closely monitors project plans and communicates progress by creating internal and external status reports and other client communication.

Assists with new business opportunities, including identifying organic growth within existing accounts, developing proposals (including estimated budgets), and creating business presentations aiding sales when appropriate. Researches and manages daily issues regarding staff, processes, procedures, client needs, budgetary needs, and company objectives. Investigates client needs daily and expedites solutions (i.e

development changes, client support prioritization, etc.). Assist with billing/invoicing process for each contract under employee's management. Assist with recruitment to fill vacancies and new positions under their leadership

Monitor and ensure compliance with all time and labor allocation requirements, in collaboration with Human Resources and Finance Departments. Recommend new approaches as necessary to ensure responsibility operations run efficiently. Act as liaison for strategic partners for items including current staff, process, research, quality control and more.

Maintain and develop relationships with upper-level decision makers (city managers, mayors, councils, and state associations). Oversee project plans and resource allocation for large projects and initiatives. 30% travel required within assigned region.

Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned. Qualifications: Senior level administrative and management experience in building, engineering, architecture, or construction project management. Additional education and experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.

Extensive knowledge of the Florida Building Codes, zoning codes, City codes and structural design is necessary for the position. Knowledge of the principles and practices of engineering as applied to enforcing building regulations, land use and zoning, and of the laws effective in the City relating to building and zoning. Familiarity with FEMA and Coastal Floodplain, is a plus.

Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree with major course work in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the above requirements. Minimum of 10 years' administrative and management experience in building, engineering, architecture, or construction project management.

Certifiable by the Dade or Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals pursuant to the requirements of the Florida Building Code; or possess Building Official Certification by the State of Florida, is a plus.
