Job description

A Brew Brothers barback is responsible for basic prep work behind the bar, stocking of all alcohol product, and any assistance needed by bartender or Brewmaster.

  • Previous bar experience a plus. Must be able to work in a fast paced physically demanding environment. 
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation. 
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized in order to maintain records of inventory transfers. 
  • Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment. 
  • Must be at least 19. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation. Subject to pre-employment drug screening. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
  • Responsible for stocking bars with liquor, beer, fruit, mixes, straws, napkins, ice, cleaning products all other products required in the day-to-day operation of the bar. 
  • Will assist bartenders during breaks. 
  • Keep records of inventory transfers. 
  • All other duties as assigned.
