These are brands trusted by athletes, families, and communities around the world. From professional-grade systems used by elite players to backyard hoops that bring neighborhoods together, our basketball portfolio sits at the top of its class globally. We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Specialist to help drive Escalade Sports’ next chapter of e‑commerce growth for these basketball brands.
Job Purpose:
The Brand Marketing Specialist drives Escalade Sports’ e‑commerce growth and enhances the online customer experience through ownership of the Shopify marketplace, Email/SMS platforms, affiliate marketing programs, SEO strategy, and performance analytics. This role supports the Basketball brands by turning insights into action and ensuring our digital channels are optimized for sales and engagement.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Shopify promotions, Email/SMS campaigns (Klaviyo), review platforms (Bazaarvoice), and promotional calendars
  • Support paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, Amazon, Wayfair and manage affiliate program deliverables
  • Manage site structure updates, landing page builds, and app integrations to enhance the digital experience
  • Create and execute a promotional and social media calendar
  • Assist in building a strong brand focused social media presence
  • Write clear and engaging SEO, GEO rich content for ecommerce that reflect the brand’s voice
  • Organize and manage product content (copy, images, videos, specs, dimensions, pricing) utilizing a product database Salsify and publishing to Shopify websites, Amazon, and additional retail channels
  • Maintain product metadata, Google Merchant Center feeds, and SEO, GEO rankings
  • Track and analyze performance using GA4 and pixel data to inform marketing strategy and investment
  • Collaborate with brand, product, sales and creative on initiatives that drive e‑commerce growth
  • Contribute to reporting dashboards and insights to share with the Basketball team and senior leadership
  • Stay current on e‑commerce, SEO, and digital marketing trends to recommend enhancements
Qualifications amp; Requirements\
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • 2-3 years of e‑commerce or digital marketing experience preferred
  • Hands‑on expertise in any of the following Shopify, Klaviyo, or Salsify
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms (Meta, Google Ads, AMS) and affiliate marketing tools
  • Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (GA4, SemRush, BrightEdge)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across marketing, product, and creative
