Department Overview:
Storybook Ballet is a niche children's ballet school that has been in operation since 2000. Our philosophy is unique in that we focus on the love of dance while intertwining fairytales and a touch of magic! We are nestled in the lower level of glamorous Hilldale - offering our families a warm and inviting atmosphere each week. Each class is approached with thought and each lesson plan is crafted with a balance of education of the art form and the joy of movement. We have five levels of classes for ages 3-10 years.

CAMPS: June 17-19 (8:30-3:30pm with lunch break)

CLASSES:
Tuesdays 4:00-6:15pm
Wednesdays 10:45am-12:00pm
Wednesdays 4:15-6:30pm
Thursdays 9:15-11:30am
Thursdays 3:45-6:15pm
Fridays 8:45-11:00am
Sundays 3:45-6:00pm
Salary/Wage Range:
Monthly $15.00 to $16.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Unique and magical children's ballet school at Hilldale is seeking a part-time Assistant Ballet Teacher for our upcoming Summer Session and Summer Camps for beginning level ballet classes (ages 3-10). Our job description includes demonstrating exercises, providing hands-on instruction, working with the lead teacher, communicating with parents and students, following lesson plans, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of classical ballet training and experience working with children. If you are available for some, but not all, of the hours listed- please still apply.
Physical Demands
Demonstrating beginning classical ballet movements and providing hands-on help to our young students.
