Responsibilities
  • Teach joyful, engaging 45-minute ballet classes for children ages 6 months to 8 years
  • Lead classes of up to 8 children, including caregiver-supported classes for children under age 3
  • Deliver lessons using Tutu School's thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate curriculum, music, and studio props
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and encouraging classroom environment
  • Provide individualized encouragement, guidance, and positive feedback to students
  • Build positive relationships with families and communicate clearly about student progress, studio policies, and promotions
  • Assist with studio events, including birthday parties, day camps, and recital/performance support as needed
  • Support front-of-house and retail operations, including processing sales, tracking inventory, and restocking merchandise
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the studio, including the dance space, lobby, refreshment area, retail displays, teacher office, break room, bathroom, and mother's room
  • Represent the Tutu School brand with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support studio growth in the Boulder community
