We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to join our team at Renewal Path, LLC. • Oversee client documentation, ensuring all records in the clinical section of each client chart meet licensing standards and quality assurance requirements.
• Actively participate in clinical team meetings, contributing insights and strategies to optimize client care.
• Guide clients in daily treatment activities, helping them develop skills necessary for successful recovery.
• Assist clients in navigating barriers they encounter in their treatment journey, applying motivational interviewing techniques where applicable.
• Collaborate with Primary Therapists to create and refine comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring all modalities are represented.
• Facilitate regular one-on-one sessions with clients, providing individualized counseling at least once per week.
• Conduct group sessions, promoting peer support and education, maintaining adherence to the program schedule.
• Coordinate and arrange necessary treatment services for an assigned caseload to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Maintain regular contact with the families and referral sources of clients, fostering a communal approach to treatment.
• Engage in Quality Improvement initiatives, participating in relevant task groups as needed.
• Take part in continued education through in-service training and supervision meetings to stay current in the field.

You will primarily work with adults seeking mental health services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches. By employing a person-centered methodology, you will help clients address a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your mission is to establish a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, guiding them towards a healthier mindset and improved quality of life.

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Current, active licensure in the State of California as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or equivalent. Note that we cannot accept applicants with an associate license, as they are not billable through Medicare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, to prepare documentation efficiently.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple client cases.
• A self-motivated approach to work, capable of operating independently without direct supervision.

• Experience working with geriatric clients is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Prior involvement in integrated care settings enhances your profile.
