Job description

HR Assistant
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an HR Assistant for a company based in Dalton, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support daily office operations, assist with human resources functions, and help maintain an efficient and positive work environment within a growing company.

Pay Rate
$18-$20/hr, depending on experience

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

HR Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with onboarding, employee records, payroll support, and other daily HR functions
  • Manage office operations including filing, scheduling, ordering supplies, and maintaining organized records
  • Coordinate interviews, communicate with applicants, and support the hiring process
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide professional support to employees, customers, and visitors
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information and completing administrative tasks

HR Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous HR, administrative, or office management experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, email communication, and data entry
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Background check and credit check required

Job Type
Full-time, temporary to permanent
