SENIOR CIVIL DESIGNER – CIVIL 3D

Burlington & New Berlin, Wisconsin | $60,000–$80,000 + Bonus Potential

Lynch & Associates – Engineering Consultants, LLC is a growing multidisciplinary consulting firm with offices in Burlington and New Berlin, Wisconsin. We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and a background in civil design and surveying principles.

This role is ideal for an experienced designer who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants exposure to site civil, municipal, transportation, surveying, and construction-related projects while collaborating directly with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and other design staff.

What You'll Do

  • Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, construction layout, and staking information.
  • Design components of site civil, municipal, and transportation projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
  • Complete civil engineering and surveying-related tasks under the direction of Project Engineers and Project Managers.
  • Prepare reports and permit materials for site civil, transportation, and municipal projects.
  • Perform construction observation and field services as requested.
  • Collaborate with project teams across Lynch & Associates offices.
  • Provide limited direction to staff on project-specific tasks as appropriate.
  • Communicate with clients, peers, and agencies on project-specific matters as the role requires.
  • Support the Lynch & Associates team with other project-related responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • 8–10+ years of relevant civil design experience.
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, civil design software, and surveying principles.
  • Associate degree in a related field of study and/or relevant technical education and experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting site civil, municipal, transportation, surveying, and/or construction-related projects.
  • Ability to provide overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to meet Lynch & Associates' automotive-insurability requirements for business driving.
