Can a mechanic make $200,000 a year?

Assistant auto mechanic helpers typically earn lower wages than fully licensed mechanics, and reaching a $200,000 annual salary is uncommon in this role. Entry-level positions usually do not offer this level of pay.

How much do mechanic helpers make in the US?

Mechanic helpers in the US typically earn an average hourly wage of around $12 to $15, which translates to approximately $25,000 to $31,000 annually for full-time work.
