Status: Full Time 80 hours per pay period

This Clinic Coordinator position is a hybrid clinical and administrative position that supports specialty clinic operations at Bonner General Health.

This role provides primary operational support to the Urology and Ophthalmology clinic teams, including front office duties, referral and prior authorization coordination, surgery scheduling, and direct clinical support for the attending physician.The Clinic Coordinator works collaboratively across both clinics, shares front office responsibilities during assigned weeks, and helps ensure continuity of care throughout the patient experience.

This position is structured as a paid training pathway. Bonner General Health is committed to hiring someone in this role that is willing to grow their skill set as the duties and requirements will expand to include CNA and then CMA duties, once certified.

We are seeking an energetic, dependable individual with strong office experience and a genuine interest in patient care who is willing to grow into the clinical side of this role obtianing a CNA certification and the BGH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program.

Candidates already holding CMA or LPN credentials remain eligible and encouraged to apply.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required within four (4) months of hire (employer-supported)

Commitment to enroll in the Bonner General Health Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program and complete Medical Assistant certification within two (2) years of hire required. Candidates already holding CMA, or LPN credentials remain eligible and encouraged to apply.

If licensed: Certification or License in good standing for National Certified Medical Assistant or Idaho CNA

Experience:

Minimum one (1) year of office, administrative, or customer service experience required; medical office experience preferred

Experience with electronic health records preferred; Greenway experience a plus; willingness to learn required

Experience with insurance prior authorization and referral coordination preferred
