What You'll Do
  • Welcome and assist clients with professionalism and compassion
  • Review, explain, and process invoices accurately
  • Receive and process payments, credits, refunds, and adjustments
  • Prepare and explain estimates for veterinary services
  • Review medications and discharge instructions with clients
  • Process surgery consents, treatment forms, hospitalization paperwork, and euthanasia documentation
  • Answer phones and assist with billing questions and client concerns
  • Handle sensitive client interactions with patience and professionalism
  • Support emergency situations and urgent client needs as they arise
  • Cross-train within all reception department functions
  • Maintain accurate records and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, assistants, and reception teams
  • Help maintain a positive, drama-free, team-oriented culture

What We're Looking For
  • Previous veterinary, medical office, customer service, or billing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable discussing invoices, medications, and treatment plans with clients
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
  • Comfortable working evenings, rotating Saturdays, holidays, and emergency situations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with pets as needed

Schedule
Full-Time (36+ hours weekly)
Monday-Friday: 1:00 PM ๏ฟฝ 9:30 PM
Rotating Saturdays: 7:30 AM ๏ฟฝ 4:00 PM
Shift differential pay available during designated ER hours, including weekends and overnight emergency coverage periods.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting pay at $15/hour
  • Shift differential pay starting at $22.95/hour during designated ER shifts
