Animal Clinic Northview is a full-service, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in the greater Cleveland area known for delivering exceptional, comprehensive, and compassionate care to our patients and community.

With a team of over 30 doctors and a large, collaborative support staff, our hospital offers advanced diagnostics, surgery, emergency care, and rehabilitation services in a fast-paced, high-quality medical environment.

We are currently looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview

Veterinary Assistants at Animal Clinic Northview play a key role in supporting patient care, hospital operations, and the overall client experience.

This is a hands-on position in a busy hospital setting where no two days are the same. You will work closely with veterinarians and technicians while gaining exposure to a wide range of cases and procedures.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Safely restrain animals for diagnostics and care
  • Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
  • Support hospitalized patient care including monitoring, feeding, and walking
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
  • Assist with laboratory samples and basic diagnostics
  • Stock supplies and ensure equipment is ready for use
  • Provide support to clients and contribute to a positive hospital experience
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous veterinary or animal handling experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment
