Work You'll Do
AMC Security Operations Center-as-a-Service (SOCaaS) is looking for an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to join their team. The Automation & Controls Engineer will assist in designing solutions for integration into existing automated equipment. They will also assist in generating site implementation design deliverables for the AMC SOCaaS capability, including architecture diagrams and schematics, strategic implementation plans, and developing appropriate design decisions based on their experience.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Provide insight into Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology (OT)
Perform on-site surveys of existing OT and production environment equipment, and on-site installation of SOCaaS equipment onto the existing equipment
Provide insight into Facility-Related-Control-Systems (FRCS) that operate on protocols such as BACnet
Develop schematics and designs for any desired modifications to existing machines as well as designing for future, yet-to-be-installed machines
Advocate the perspectives of the Site engineering teams and effectively convey risks associated with proposed modifications to allow AMC SOCaaS to make the best decisions possible
Generate a Bill of Materials for these designs and provides guidance on sourcing when appropriate

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to Obtain or Active Secret security clearance required
5+ years of experience in Automation & Controls Engineering and/or Machine Design, with a focus on the integration of PLCs and other automation technologies
Experience with Industrial Control protocols such as ProfiNET, Ethernet/IP, and SCADA technologies
Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Experience with ICS/OT SCADA Application Security
Experience with Human Machine Interface
