Job Summary: The Assistant Accountant will perform a variety of accounting tasks with a focus on accounts payable and merchant processing.
Principle Responsibilities:
• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
• Oversees the full-cycle accounts payable process, including vendor payments, invoice management, discrepancy resolution, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Responsible for monitoring, disputing, and resolving chargebacks to recover revenue and minimize financial losses.
• Supports internal and external financial audits by providing accurate records, documentation, reconciliations, and timely resolution of any audit inquiries.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Service oriented and ability to collaborate with a team.
