Medicus is partnering with a hospital in northern Illinois that has an opening for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage.


About the Opening:

  • Schedule: 24-hour in-house or beeper call shifts
  • Patient Volume: 12-14 per day
  • Bread & butter cardiac cases (CABG, AVR, mitral valves, occasional aortic dissections, and occasional aortic cases)
  • Must be skilled with thoracic anesthesia
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible
  • Paid travel & expenses
