Job Overview

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end management of recovered vehicle assets, ensuring that every unit is sale-ready without delay. This role focuses on eliminating barriers to sale, driving down cycle times, and maximizing asset value through disciplined management of inventory, vendor partnerships, and process execution.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with hands-on operational leadership to ensure there are no unnecessary holds or restrictions preventing vehicles from moving swiftly through the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supervise daily activities of assigned team members to ensure productivity, quality, and service standards are consistently met.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and feedback to support employee development and performance.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for operational issues, questions, and employee concerns.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, addressing issues promptly and escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensure daily workflows and tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate workload distribution to balance efficiency, capacity, and deadlines.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Track and report basic performance metrics and operational updates to management.
  • Communicate priorities, deadlines, and process changes clearly to the team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of new procedures or tools.
  • Lead efforts to improve current process and standard operating procedures

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–5 years of relevant operational experience, including prior lead or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant internal systems.

What’s the expected pay for this role?

  • $21.63 per hour (non-exempt), plus bonus based on performance. Total annual compensation typically ranges from $60,000–$70,000.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
