What is an asset recovery?

An Asset Recovery job involves locating, retrieving, and managing assets that have been lost, stolen, defaulted, or otherwise need to be recovered. Responsibilities may include investigating asset locations, negotiating settlements, and coordinating repossession efforts. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in asset recovery, and why are they important?

Asset Recovery professionals often encounter complex cases where assets are difficult to locate or recover, requiring patience, creativity, and persistence. They may need to navigate regulatory requirements and work with legal teams to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
