Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced systems Asset Control Specialist to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide inventory level tracking and reporting.
  • Provide updates and tracking of assets and materials in customer's ServiceNow tool.
  • Develop Bills of Materials.
  • Resolve component and asset compliance issues.
  • Provide site assessments, surveys, and site survey visits upon the request of the Government.
  • Assist in the tracking of assets and materials.
  • Assist in developing project and plan projects reflecting IT assets and materials as related to "Tech Refresh".
  • Develop and plan for the asset materials, procurements, and the execution of procurement as related to "Tech Refresh".
  • Provide plans, monitor, and provide recommendations for asset lifecycle replacements.
  • Utilize the customer Asset Management process to execute the sanitization and decommissioning of equipment.
  • Perform Equipment Decommission Management.
  • Assist in developing and implementing an IT Asset Disposition Plan to address reuse, recycle, repurpose, repair or disposal of IT equipment in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Completely uninstall, account for and secure each decommissioned device.
  • Monitor the state of all assets, purchase and receive new equipment, and update software licenses.

**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to obtain a Poly clearance.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with bachelor's degree; Minimum of 3 years with master's degree; Minimum of 0 years with PhD.
  • 4 years experience may be used in Lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience as an Asset Control Specialist or a similar role
  • Deep understanding of asset Lifecyle management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards (e.g., National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST), etc.).
  • Experience with asset management software and databases.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • e-Stewards certification.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
