As a Lead Warehouse Material Handler, you will be responsible for the overall daily flow of materials, which includes accurate shipping, receiving and inventory control across multiple Ledcor warehouses. You will also be responsible for preserving a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that our internal and external customers receive materials required to support the project.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversees inventory management across multiple warehouse locations, maintaining accurate stock levels and coordinating timely replenishment of materials

  • Optimizes staffing, scheduling, and operational downtime based on business demands while maximizing warehouse capacity and material utilization

  • Inspects incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quantities, assess material condition, and uphold quality control standards across locations

  • Coordinates fleet, equipment, and facility maintenance activities, including overseeing repairs and operating forklifts or telehandlers as needed

  • Maintains warehouse cleanliness, waste management processes, and safe working conditions while ensuring compliance with established safety standards

  • Facilitates efficient warehouse operations through proactive resource planning, inventory oversight, and cross-location operational support

Qualifications:

  • Four or more years of experience working in warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environments

  • Demonstrates expertise in managing inventory and materials across multiple warehouse locations while maintaining accurate stock control

  • Proven ability to optimize operational workflows, allocate resources effectively, and minimize downtime to improve efficiency

  • Leads warehouse operations and logistics teams with a strong track record of coordinating daily activities and driving performance

  • Utilizes multi-location warehouse management systems, inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite to support operational excellence

  • Applies strong auditing, compliance, asset protection, quality control, communication, and decision-making skills while ensuring adherence to OSHA and workplace safety standards

Work Conditions:

  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)

  • This position requires travel between multiple Ledcor warehouses as needed (50 - 75% travel)
