Job Summary
The Loss Prevention Associate serves as a key protector of Lucchese Bootmaker's people, assets, facilities, and brand reputation. This highly visible, on-site role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant work environment across manufacturing, distribution, and corporate operations. Through proactive security practices, facility patrols, surveillance monitoring, access control, incident response, and partnership with leadership, the Loss Prevention Associate helps prevent loss, mitigate risk, and support uninterrupted business operations.
This position acts as a frontline ambassador for safety and security, fostering a culture of accountability, awareness, and operational excellence. The Loss Prevention Associate collaborates closely with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, and external law enforcement agencies to identify risks, investigate incidents, and implement preventative measures that protect Company assets and employees.

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for supporting the Company's asset protection and physical security programs through proactive monitoring, incident prevention, access control enforcement, and security response activities. This role directly contributes to reducing shrinkage, minimizing operational disruptions, protecting Company assets, and maintaining a secure workplace for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
The position requires sound judgment, strong observational skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to routine and emergency situations. The Loss Prevention Associate works in partnership with leadership and employees across all levels of the organization to identify security vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.

- Conduct routine and random patrols of manufacturing, distribution, office, and retail areas to deter theft, vandalism, workplace misconduct, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain a visible security presence to promote a safe and secure working environment.
- Inspect facilities, parking lots, entrances, exits, and restricted areas for security concerns and operational risks.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions to leadership.
- Support Company efforts to reduce shrinkage, protect assets, and safeguard intellectual property.
- Perform facility opening and closing responsibilities in accordance with Company security standards.
- Verify that all doors, gates, alarms, locks, and security systems are functioning properly.
- Ensure facilities are properly secured before and after operational hours.
- Complete opening, closing, and security inspection checklists accurately and timely.
- Report deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions when security issues are identified.
- Monitor live surveillance camera systems and other security technologies.
- Identify suspicious activity, policy violations, safety concerns, or potential criminal activity.
- Review surveillance footage to support investigations and incident resolution.
- Preserve, secure, and document surveillance evidence in accordance with Company standards.
- Coordinate with management and law enforcement during investigations as required.
