Job description

Location: 100% Onsite - Must be located in or near Bethlehem, PA or Ft Worth, TX. The role will report to our Innovation Center at either location; 11401 Harmon Rd., Fort Worth, TX or 4779 Hanoverville Rd building 200, Bethlehem, PA 18020

Role Description: 

The Regional Manager, Asset Protection, is a key member of the ShipBob team charged with the primary responsibility of preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and overseeing physical security throughout the ShipBob SICs, HUBs, and SFNs. In addition to driving a shrink elimination culture within their assigned facility, the Regional Manager, Asset Protection will be responsible for the creation and execution of physical security and asset protection policies, as well as ensuring the education of associates and managers around the policies. The Regional Manager, Asset Protection, will be responsible for supervising and training a team of Asset Protection Specialists. This role will report to the Director, HRBP.  

What you'll do: 

  • Engage, coach, train, and influence operational business partners on key asset protection and physical security policies and best practices. 
  • Develop and design asset protection policies aimed at reducing loss and mitigating theft within our SICs, SFNs, and HUBs. 
  • Serve as the SME for asset protection and physical security throughout the network. 
  • Directly manage the Asset Protection Specialist team.  
  • Interact with on-site security guard team and oversee 3rd party guard team relationship and contract. 
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and proactively work to put in place deterrents to mitigate and/or eliminate risk.  
  • Review and analyze CCTV and exception reporting to identify theft and/or loss trends. 
  • Oversee investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate. 
  • Prepare accurate and detailed case reports. 
  • Use tools, data analysis, and collaborate with internal partners to identify inventory defects and create strategic plans to mitigate losses.  
  • Testify at criminal and civil trials related to closed investigations. 
  • Interact with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. 
  • This role covers a 24/7 operation, and you must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.   
  • Comply to all food safety and compliance policies and regulations.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary. 

What you'll bring to the table: 

  • 5+ years of experience in the following: security service, asset protection, investigations, law enforcement, or a bachelor's degree in a related field. 
  • 5+ years of data collection experience with root cause analysis. 
  • Wicklander-Zulawski Interview & Interrogation Certification highly preferred. 
  • Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) Certification preferred. 
  • LPCertified (LPC) or LPQualified (LPQ) highly preferred. 
  • Experience in physical security systems and security vendor coordination. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience interacting with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. 
  • Ability to work independently without supervision in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Workplace Violence Risk Analysis and/or Business Continuity Experience. 
  • Strong decision-making and data analysis capabilities.

We are targeting a base salary of $100,000 - $115,000.  In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company's policies.
