The Senior Manager, Asset Protection –Developer/Software Engineer serves as a strategic technology capability leader responsible for designing, building, deploying, and evolving applications and platform capabilities that support Asset Protection operations, learning enablement, investigations, reporting, and decision-making across the enterprise. This role translates complex business needs into scalable solutions, owning the full lifecycle from concept and requirements through architecture, deployment, adoption, governance, and continuous improvement.
This position manages a portfolio of internally developed capabilities and platform enhancements, ensuring solutions are user-centric, secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
About the team:
The Asset Protection Platform and Technology team integrates Asset Protection, Operations, Business Strategy, and Technology governance to deliver solutions supporting investigations, case management, reporting, learning enablement, workflow automation, and operational execution. The team focuses on simplifying manual or inconsistent processes by developing scalable technology capabilities and supporting applications used across multiple Asset Protection areas. Through business ownership, solution design, platform governance, and application delivery, the team creates tools that enhance visibility, consistency, and execution enterprise-wide, driving effective risk management and loss prevention initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
What you'll do:
  • Serve as the business and technical capability owner for Asset Protection applications, platforms, and internally developed solutions.
  • Design, build, deploy, and enhance scalable applications and workflows that support Asset Protection business processes.
  • Own solution architecture decisions, deployment planning, and application lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain applications that support learning enablement, reporting, operational execution, investigations, and broader AP use cases.
  • Ensure applications and enhancements align with enterprise standards for security, compliance, architecture, data handling, and platform governance.
  • Lead SSP-related governance, solution reviews, and prioritization processes for AP technology work.
  • Partner with AP leaders, field users, Legal, Operations, and enterprise technology stakeholders to align solutions to business needs.

What you'll bring:
  • Experience designing, building, deploying, or owning business applications, workflow tools, or enterprise technology capabilities.
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions and user-friendly applications.
  • Experience with application lifecycle ownership, including requirements, architecture, testing, release planning, deployment, and support.
  • Comfort working in cloud-based or enterprise application environments and partnering through architecture, security, and governance reviews.
  • Understanding of integrations, data structures, reporting needs, user access, compliance requirements, and application support models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently in areas where dedicated technical resources may be limited.
  • User-focused mindset with a passion for simplifying workflows, improving adoption, and delivering practical business value.
