Asset Protection Coordinator
Atlanta, GA 30339

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a Fortune 20 retailer, is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Asset Protection Coordinator for a one-year onsite contract in Atlanta, GA. This entry-level position is responsible for supporting the execution and ongoing maintenance of product protection initiatives. The coordinator will work closely with Asset Protection, Merchandising, Store Operations, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate projects, track progress, maintain accurate documentation, conduct quality checks, and ensure the successful implementation of asset protection programs. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data and documentation, coordinating details, and partnering with teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office tools, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Strong communication, collaboration, and customer-focused skills are essential, with prior experience in retail or business operations considered a plus.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support the coordination and execution of product protection initiatives, including tracking project milestones, follow-up activities, and open issues.
  • Conduct photo audits and other quality checks to monitor implementation and ensure projects align with established standards.
  • Maintain project trackers, dashboards, spreadsheets, and other documentation to support accurate and timely reporting.
  • Monitor project status and follow up with internal partners to gather updates and help resolve outstanding issues.
  • Assist with maintenance requests, field questions, and coordinate follow-up activities related to Asset Protection programs.
  • Organize and summarize information using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Prepare routine updates, reports, presentations, and other materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of Asset Protection initiatives.
  • Perform other administrative and coordination activities as needed to support the Asset Protection Merchandising team.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and teams across different functions.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder support skills.
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in retail, merchandising, operations, asset protection, or similar environments (preferred).
  • Experience maintaining trackers, coordinating projects, or supporting business processes (preferred).
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, dashboards, or other tools used to organize and summarize information (preferred).
  • Strong follow-through and ability to independently manage assigned tasks (preferred).
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and influence outcomes through effective communication and collaboration (preferred).
