 BGIS is currently seeking an Asset Logistics Technician to join the team in McCarran, NV.
 
BGIS is a leading provider of integrated real estate management services, including facilities management, project management, energy & sustainability services, strategic workplace consulting, real estate services
and capital planning. Its range of solutions, supported by efficient systems, processes, and people, enables it to create and optimize places that work for its clients. The team is dedicated to inspiring better business performance and helping clients focus on their core businesses.
 
The Asset Logistics Technician is responsible for tracking deliveries and inventory. The position requires a high level of accuracy and communicates frequently with other team members. The Asset Logistics Technician demonstrates BGIS values in communications with clients and other team members.
 
Asset Logistics Activities    
Accept all hardware deliveries and manage asset status as it relates to the movement of assets in and out of the data center.    
Monitor the spare parts inventor and RMA (Return Merchandise) handling, packaging, and scheduling shipments of all equipment and assets.    
Audit asset status in data center daily.    
Work directly with other Asset Logistics Technicians and coordinate to support the asset integration and decommissioning efforts of the data center.    
Support any additional efforts related to shipping and receiving as assigned by the Asset Logistics Lead or Supervisor.    
Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned    
Minimum two years proven experience in asset management or data center shipping/receiving.    
Experience in asset tracking or ALM (Asset Logistics Management) software.    
Strong attention to detail and extremely well organized with proven ability to work on several simultaneous projects and programs.    
Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to data center operations.    
Great interpersonal and communication skills.    
Experience working in a team environment to provide support and excellent customer service.    
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

The salary range for this position in the US is $24-26 hour. 

A candidate's salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
