Job description

Overview / Responsibilities

Looking for a rewarding position with a stable company that provides great benefits?  Wood is looking for a Warehouse/Asset Manager to join our team in the Powder River Basin area.  Wood offers multiple medical, dental and vision plans, PTO, life insurance, STD and LTD and a 401k plan that is vested from day of employment. #woodwyoming

This position will be responsible for distribution and record-keeping for approx.. 200 vehicles as well as approx. 40 pieces of field equipment.  Incumbent will be based out of the Sheridan area and will be required to travel throughout Wyoming (Evanston, Rawlins, Powder River Basin areas).

 Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement vehicle activities to promote safe, cost-effective, and appropriate operation of site vehicles.
  • Distribute vehicle and safety information to drivers.
  • Collects, reviews, and maintains information such as monthly vehicle usage reports, quarterly personal mileage reports, etc, and provides information to supervisors.
  • Provide drivers with driving rules and maintains record of written acknowledgement by drivers.
  • Conducts periodic driving record review
  • Will be responsible for setting up Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers will necessary training.
  • Must be able to work with the DOT program and perform DOT audits as necessary.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining compliance of Driver Qualification (DQ) files, including updating and purging files as necessary
  • Must be able to maintain compliance with accident and vehicle damage reporting requirements.
  • Will be responsible for building and maintain all corporate equipment files.
  • Will maintain all information on vehicle registrations, including copying and issuance tracking.
  • Researching all recalls received and issuing them to the correct district.
  • Completing requests from corporate and insurance for all vehicle (fixed asset) and employee data requests
  • Must be able to create, maintain and compile reports from various sources as needed.
  • Must be able to work with Wheels for employee needs due to accidents or vehicle problems.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Must have basic computer knowledge - Excel, Word, Outlook and the ability to create PDF files
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Some basic mechanical skill required
  • Must be willing to travel if necessary
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Must be a self-motivator
  • Must be accustomed to physical activity and have the ability to bend, squat, kneel and lift 60 lbs.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license.  CDL preferred but not required.
  • Ability to update equipment profiles in Oracle
  • Must live within reasonable commuting distance of the Sheridan Warehouse office. (Sheridan or Buffalo preferred)
