Responsibilities
  • Assist event staff with setup and breakdown of events, including decor, seating arrangements, and equipment.
  • Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, plating, and garnishing under the guidance of the culinary team.
  • Provide attentive and friendly service to guests during events, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Help manage guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in post-event cleanup and organization.
  • Gain exposure to various aspects of event management, from logistics to client interaction.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong desire to learn and gain hands-on experience in the catering and event industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles is a plus.
