We're looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Corporate Treasury Analyst to join our Finance team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic decision-making by analyzing balance sheet risk, liquidity, capital, and market conditions that impact the bank's performance and future growth.

What You'll Do

As a Corporate Treasury Analyst, you'll help monitor and manage SmartBank's financial risk profile while supporting critical treasury, liquidity, and balance sheet management initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to manage Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Liquidity Risk Management systems
  • Analyzing interest rate risk, liquidity risk, capital adequacy, and balance sheet performance
  • Performing cash position monitoring and liquidity forecasting to support daily operations and long-term planning
  • Supporting loan and deposit growth forecasting through collaboration with business line leaders, FP&A, and Treasury teams
  • Identifying emerging risks and recommending strategies to support SmartBank's risk tolerance framework
  • Developing financial models and scenario analyses to assess market, liquidity, and balance sheet impacts
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for senior management
  • Monitoring industry trends, economic conditions, and market developments to support strategic decision-making
  • Assisting with treasury operations, including investment settlements, collateral pledging, and capital markets activities
  • Supporting regulatory compliance and enhancing treasury-related processes and controls

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or another analytical discipline preferred
  • Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Banking, treasury, FP&A, risk management, or financial analysis experience is highly desirable

Desired Skills & Expertise

  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling
  • Experience with forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) principles preferred
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, or similar data analytics platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other business intelligence tools preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
