Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consistently practice safe work habits and abide by all safety policies and guidelines.
  • Assemble complex electrical and mechanical systems requiring measurement and alignment per instructions provided in detail drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and programming parameters; follow standard work instructions, using a variety of hand & power tools.
  • Perform cutting, bending, punching, drilling, etc. operations as required.
  • Set-up and perform functional testing of electrical and mechanical assemblies; be able to accurately troubleshoot and correct problems as discovered.
  • Perform and document all quality inspections and testing as required.
  • Organize and complete tasks on-time to meet the production schedule requirements.
  • Handle material and prepare products for delivery as required (All Packaging /Crating prep and closing).
  • Maintain housekeeping, safety & user maintenance of all equipment as required.
  • Accurately record time and material data as required for production reporting.
  • Work in a team and actively contribute to the success of the team.
  • Be willing to cross train, and train lesser experienced employees in the area.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent (Associate Degree is a plus).
  • Some experience in complex electrical and mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Good communication (English fluency) and organization skills with a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be physically able to perform all aspects of the job and be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs multiple times daily.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate windows systems required.
  • Ability to read a tape measurement.
  • Experience using power and hand tools is a plus.
