You play a hands-on role in building high-reliability cable and connector solutions used in demanding applications. As a Solder Assembly Technician, you ensure that every connector, splice, and socket meets strict workmanship and quality standards before entering the molding process. • Apply accepted workmanship standards across electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Use hand and power tools to fit, assemble, and prepare components
  • Inspect assemblies and perform basic in-process testing to verify quality
  • Trim or adjust materials to meet required electrical and dimensional specifications
  • Handle any flammable and hazardous materials safely and in compliance with safety requirements
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
  • Support cross-training across different assembly processes as needed

What you need
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for small-part soldering - required
  • Ability to read and follow detailed drawings and written/verbal instructions - required
  • Prior hand soldering experience; required wire and cable soldering - preferred
  • 5+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment - required
  • J-STD-001 certification (current or prior) required
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification (current or prior) - preferred
  • High School diploma or GED - required
  • Ability to work the core schedule of 6:00am-2:45pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed - required
  • English language proficiency for safety, quality documentation, and communication - required

What we offer
  • Standard Teledyne benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, paid vacation, paid sick, and paid holidays
  • Stable day-shift schedule with overtime opportunities
  • A clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment
  • Skill development through cross-training and exposure to multiple assembly types
  • The opportunity to work for a global technology leader with a strong quality culture
