What does an assembly row do?

A typical day in an Assembly Row role involves working on a production line or designated station to assemble products or components according to detailed instructions and quality standards. Team members may rotate between tasks, use various hand and power tools, and conduct visual inspections to ensure all parts meet specifications. The environment is often fast-paced and may require standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and collaborating with colleagues to resolve production challenges. While the work is task-focused, teamwork and communication are important, as you’ll frequently coordinate with supervisors, quality control staff, and other departments to meet production goals.

To thrive in an Assembly Row position, you need strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints or assembly instructions, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Reliability, teamwork, and the ability to follow procedures make a candidate stand out in this environment. These attributes ensure the accurate and efficient assembly of products while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Job description

Position: Full-Time Day Hospitalist (Internal Medicine)
Location: Yonkers, NY
Facility: 300+ Bed Hospital with Closed ICU
Not everyone wants to work nights, and guess what? You don't have to. We're looking for a daytime hospitalist who's ready to trade in burnout for a flexible, fulfilling role with a team that actually respects work-life balance.
This isn't shift work disguised as a career. It's a real opportunity to join a well-supported, expanding hospitalist program that offers stability, smart scheduling, and the kind of comp package that makes you wonder why you didn't leave your current job sooner.
Let's break it down:
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Days only-no swing shifts, no call, no surprises
  • 4-10 shifts in a row, customized to your schedule and sanity
  • Closed ICU (we're not tossing you into the abyss)
  • Procedures are optional, not mandatory
  • Responsibilities include rounding, 1-3 admissions, RRT, and Codes
  • Start date: 3 to 9 months out-we plan ahead here
Why this role is worth a serious look:
  • Base salary depends on your experience:
    • 0-2 yrs: $240K
    • 3-5 yrs: $250K
    • 6-9 yrs: $260K
    • 10+ yrs: Let's talk-custom comp available
  • Performance bonuses and other perks on top of base pay
  • Excellent benefits: vacation time, calendar holidays, tuition assistance, CME
  • Four weeks vacation (yes, for real-at a hospital!)
  • Award-winning support staff who make your life easier
  • Manageable workload with a schedule built for balance
  • No visa sponsorship at this facility
Who we're looking for:
  • MD or DO with an active NYS license (or working on it)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Valid BLS & ACLS
  • CME-compliant
  • 2026 grads welcome to sign early-if you're ready to commit before August 2025
