Job description

Major employer in the greater Morristown / Dandridge area has immediate opening for an Assembly Engineer. This is a high-volume, fast-paced operation with a mix of state-of-the-art automation and manual processes. The Assembly Engineer will assist on projects to continue automating production lines.

The Assembly Engineer will work on process capability studies, control plans, and PFMEA documentation. Will also write technical work instructions for equipment and processes. PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Prefer candidates with BS Engineering degree, but will also consider AS degree with at least 5 years Engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing.
