Job description

OnTrack OnSite is hiring for Manufacturing Warehouse associates in Shorter, AL producing automotive parts for local auto manufacturers. All positions with this client are eligible to conversion to permanent employee after 90 days with good attendance and production.

We have two 12 hour shifts available for entry level (we will train:) Monday-Saturday

  • 6:30 am-6:30 pm $13.80
  • 6:30 pm-6:30 am $14.30

Manufacturing Warehouse Associate Job Summary:

Responsibilities for performing all operations related to manufacturing and assembly of high quality products, flexible to shift rotation and movement between work centers. Must comply with all plant policies, support all 5S initiatives and department/corporate goals. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.

Manufacturing Warehouse Associate Essential Functions:

  • Responsible to ensure accuracy of their own work and monitor the quality of the previous operation.
  • Operate equipment safely and perform all functions in the work center. Troubleshoot problems and advise Team Leader / Supervisor of any problems.
  • Responsible for workplace safety and adhere to all plant safety rules.
  • Maintain any documentation required to be performed short-term or long-term.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work centers at all times as well as to ensure that concerns are brought to the attention of the appropriate personnel for action.
  • Work with others on the Team to maximize efficiency and reduce scrap/downtime within the work center. Rotation, training, troubleshooting is included.
  • Participate in all group activities such as team evaluations, CFTs and any required meetings or training.
  • Fully support all 5S initiatives.
  • Support department goals of safety, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Follow all prescribed work standards as written.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic.

Pay: $13.80 - $14.30 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
