Job description

The Production Supervisor is our first level of front-line leadership in our Assembly Department. The Production Supervisor organizes assigned work and supervises employees in daily work performance to ensure work procedures and assigned production requirements are being met. The ideal candidate has the proven ability to anticipate and resolve potential production and personnel roadblocks to streamline production efficiencies.
Essential Job Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of assembly line employees.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Ensure products are assembled according to quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Train, coach, and develop assembly personnel on processes, quality, safety, and performance expectations.
  • Assist with semi-annual performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Investigate and resolve production, equipment, and personnel issues.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize operations.
  • Monitor labor utilization, productivity, and efficiency metrics.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and manage employee attendance and scheduling.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned by management
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment including exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs regularly throughout the workday and up to 50lbs as needed
  • Work Schedule- Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm
Expected Compensation Range: Non-Exempt- $26-$35 per hour
