Who We Are Looking For

Mechanical Engineering Technician

Purpose: Support the assembly, maintenance, and testing of mechanical systems and components to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Activities include:

  • Assembling and installing mechanical components and systems.
  • Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Conducting tests and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Assisting engineers with prototype development and modifications.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in proper condition.
  • Assist with CNC machine operation and clean up.
  • On occasion, working extended hours to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or maintenance.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Able to stand and work on your feet for long durations
  • Periodically lift 50+ pounds.
  • Basic computer skills. (Microsoft 365)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain authorization from the U.S. Department of State.
