Job description

Step into a day where precision meets pace. As an Aerospace Sheet Metal Assembly Technician, you’ll move between assembly and paint support, ensuring every component meets AS9100D expectations before it advances to the next stage.

A day in the role

You begin by reviewing work instructions and production procedures aligned to AS9100D. You’ll install hardware on sheet metal parts with exactness, prepare components for finishing by masking them consistently, and then verify your work through careful inspection. Throughout the shift, you keep your station orderly and safe, balancing speed with uncompromising quality to hit production targets.

Core responsibilities
  • Install assorted hardware on sheet metal parts as part of the assembly process.
  • Mask components for the paint department with accuracy and repeatability.
  • Follow AS9100D quality standards, work instructions, and documented procedures.
  • Inspect parts to confirm conformity and readiness for the next operation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Meet output goals while protecting exceptional quality.
