Assembly line positions often require attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

What does an assembly line worker do?

As an assembly line worker, you play a part in the manufacturing of a larger product on a mass production assembly line. You may assemble certain pieces of a larger machine or monitor an automated assembly station to ensure it is functioning properly.
