Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Panelboard Sr Associate - Aftermarket. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am The hourly rate for this position is $19.25/hour per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program

What you'll do: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Eaton's Commercial Products and Assemblies division is currently seeking a Senior Production Associate Aftermarket, Panelboard Assembly to join our team.

This position is based out of our Sumter, SC facility. In this role, you will work with the Supervisor to drive results on key metrics including safety, quality, delivery and productivity in the absence of the Team Leader. You will provide leadership by promoting teamwork, training others and providing proactive resolution to production needs.

This position impacts OEM/ Aftermarket Sales volumes by supporting outbound shipments of components and/or products to support end customer needs. Positions also maintains inventories controlled in Aftermarket storeroom locations. No relocation benefit is offered for this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: You will assist the Team Leader/Supervisor in working with the manufacturing team to ensure that customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first. You will review orders and associated documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) as needed to ensure the team has the appropriate information to complete the job and to assist with troubleshooting problems with the order documentation, to include selecting, preparing and updating paperwork and schedules both on paper and computer. You will communicate professionally to provide updates on the status of specific orders, resolve issues with production and promote teamwork across departments.

Utilize computer to resolve all errors by research and auditing of transactions. Work on projects and special assignments as required. Initiative to be a self-starter and accomplish all tasks.

Receive, document, store, stage and issue all job-related material to satisfy production requirements. Support customer service requirements to include maintaining acceptable OTP and quick ships as necessary. Package, create and band equipment, parts, materials, products and accessories to minimize damage during shipment or staging and to create a safe work environment.

Apply labels, stickers, and stencils as required for identification and ease of storage or shipping. Qualifications: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Min. 1 year assembly experience Working knowledge & understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs) Experience operating hand tools/gauges Basic computer skills Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.

This position will require the candidate to get forklift certified so each applicant should be willing to do so.. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of Lean concepts. More advanced computer skills to include Excel, Word, DMM, AS400, Mapics,Vista, & Outlook

Ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton's quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process. Perform quality checks as instructed.

Ability to keep assigned work-area clean and organized per 5S standards. Overtime is sometimes needed in order to accomplish all required tasks. Comply with all safety requirements including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner.
