Position: Production Associate ILocation: Owosso, MIPosition Reports to: 2nd Shift Supervisor (Monday-Friday 3pm-1130pm)

Ventek Solutions, headquartered near Charleston, South Carolina, is a newly established entity following its acquisition by Black Diamond Capital Management (BDCM) from Sonoco Corporation. Ventek operates across 8 manufacturing facilities located in the US and Mexico. Our Mission is to be the premier foam molder and integrated solutions provider in North America, serving a wide range of markets with molded foam components and protective packaging, including returnable and integrated material solutions.

Ventek Solutions is seeking a dedicated Production Associate I to join our team at our plant in Owosso, MI. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $17.90/hour plus a shift differential of $0.50/hour. We're looking for individuals who prioritize safety, quality, productivity, and have a strong work ethic.

Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm (Monday through Friday).

What you’ll do:

You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Removes finished parts; visually inspects to assure quality; moves parts to designated area.
  • Trims/dips/hot wire burns finished parts as required.
  • Assembles, packs, seals, places prepares/places proper identification, and stacks finished parts.
  • Uses gauges as required to check product.
  • Completes and maintains records according to production and quality standards.
  • Performs routine quality checks
  • Maintains cleanliness of areas.
  • Performs all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
  • 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required

  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to frequently bend, stand, stoop and grasp and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to infrequently lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work overtime
  • Must be able to work in ambient temperatures.

Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
