Job description

TBest Services Inc. is actively seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a client in Elkridge, MD. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and have extensive experience in electro-mechanical assembly, wiring and soldering techniques.

Employment Type: Full Time/Temporary
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical assembly of conveyors following engineering specifications and manufacturing standards.
  • Perform manufacturing operations on assemblies or subassemblies, including electro-mechanical devices of moderate to difficult complexity.
  • Work under limited supervision, using drawings, visual aids, and verbal and written instructions to manufacture subassemblies, final assemblies, and/or electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Work with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve manufacturability and product quality.
  • Assemble and troubleshoot a variety of electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Use technical knowledge, hand tools, and power tools in troubleshooting and problem-solving with electro-mechanical production equipment to maintain assembly line efficiency.
  • Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Materials teams to optimize production processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Familiarity with wiring and soldering.
  • Experience in machine assembly and working on assembly lines.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding electrical systems, technical drawings and schematics.
  • Demonstrated ability in using hand and power tools, and in technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills, with a focus on quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication abilities and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
