What we are looking for:

This position is part of the structure to support the validation of parts.  The purpose of the position is to link the schedule, the sequencing on the lines and escalate material issues within the plant/function.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

  • Confirm the sequencing on the final assembly with production lead and material handling lead.
  • Escalates shortages (make and buy parts) internally through resolution
  • Count and confirm componentry quantities supplied by the stock room prior to use on the lines and confirm quantities returned from the line at the end of the order
  • Identifies correct packaging componentry and lot numbers and moves componentry to the final assembly line
  • Validate Material on the floor
  • Assist in maintaining a neat and clean working environment on the final assembly lines in accordance with PPGs and 5S principles
  • Removes all componentry from the previously packaged order from packaging line unless the componentry is to be used in the next product order to be packaged
  • Identifies correct packaging componentry and lot numbers and moves componentry out the packaging line

 

What are the basic qualifications:

  • HS Diploma
  • Know how to read BOM and routing
  • Understands MRP, demand
  • Understanding of material flow and control

What are the preferred qualifications:

  • 1-3 years work experience in the manufacturing industry
